Noise and Ruckus

A medley of sounds from all known corners of space and time, Noise and Ruckus is guaranteed to get your day going with heightened emotions and a smile on your face, or your money back. This isn't a music review site; this is where I post the songs I love.

Updated daily... unless I'm busy. If you like the music, subscribe to the feed by clicking the RSS link to the right and get your morning (and perhaps evening!) fix.

You can find me elsewhere on the Interwebs too. All things me centralise on euphoricllama.com and noodlesandwich.com. Check 'em out.

The site design looks crap in Internet Explorer 6 and below, as well as some other browsers. The reason for this is that Internet Explorer 6 is not only six years old, but was outdated even before it was released. As a web developer, I test my websites on every browser I can find. However, I don't fix them for Internet Explorer unless I'm being paid - it's just not worth the effort. If the theme bugs you, you have two choices: leave, or get a real web browser.

If you've disabled stylesheets or are using a text-only browser... what the hell is wrong with you?

Sonic Boom Six - The Rape Of Punk To Come

Sonic Boom Six are a support group, through and through. They’re ridiculously energetic for half an hour and then you’ve heard enough - you want something different.

I first saw them supporting The Aquabats in 2006, and to be honest, Laila sounded like feedback. After all the good things about them, I’m afraid I walked away thinking they were shite.

Fast-forward to 2008 and I saw them again, this time supporting Reel Big Fish. And I have to admit, they were amazing. They’ve obviously got a better sound tech and beefed up their whole style to create a fantastic fusion of reggae, ska, punk and pretty much everything else they could think of.
